I was so excited to see that this top was a reference to the very woman who brought us flower crowns and mono brows. Frida has always interested me (if you don’t know who she is, you should) mostly because of her unique style and artistic abilities. But, through a little research, I found out about her seriously interesting life (she had affairs, diseases, adventures). You know an outfit’s good when it sparks an impromptu history lesson. And incorporates my new favourite evil-eye accessory. 

I’m sorry about going MIA on you all, I had a full-on weekend followed by a bout of conjunctivitis. Such a glamorous life I live. Thank you to those who tweeted me to say hi or gush over the Oscars fashion. Personal favourite is a toss-up between Jennifer Lawrence, Amanda Seyfried, Adele and Zoe Saldana. It was difficult, okay!
